- Allows qualifying northern Cyprus goods into the EU duty-free within annual tariff quotas.
- Requires origin documents issued by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce or another authorised body.
- Bans live animals, animal products, feedingstuff and specified risky food goods until safety standards are met.
- Allows suspension or withdrawal where fraud, irregularities or ineffective cooperation threaten correct application.
