- Renames the Standing Forestry Committee as the Standing Forest and Forestry Expert Group.

- Requires Member States to nominate authorities competent across relevant forest-policy objectives.
- Takes effect
- It enters into force on the twentieth day following publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
