Changes to the amounts of funds for certain programmes and funds

It affects beneficiaries of EU health, cohesion, fisheries, urban innovation, social cooperation, just transition and Brexit adjustment funding. Member States and regions relying on these funds may see reduced available support.

• Reduces EU4Health’s additional allocation to EUR 2.055 billion in 2018 prices.
• Cuts ESF+ transnational cooperation to EUR 119.526 million in 2018 prices.
• Lowers cohesion-related allocations for interregional innovation, the European Urban Initiative and Commission technical assistance.
• Reduces EMFAF direct and indirect management, the Public Sector Loan Facility and the Brexit Adjustment Reserve.

Takes effect

The Regulation enters into force the day after publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
