This bill funds EU training, exchanges and assistance to help authorities prevent and fight euro counterfeiting from 2028 to 2034.

- Creates the Pericles V programme for 2028–2034 with a EUR 7 million indicative budget.
- Funds information exchange, staff exchanges, training, technical assistance, studies and operational support.
- Allows equipment purchases for specialised third-country anti-counterfeiting authorities, but not as standalone grant actions.
- Requires funded actions to involve at least two countries and two relevant professional groups.

- It enters into force on the twentieth day after publication in the Official Journal and applies from 1 January 2028.
- Transitional law
- Pericles IV actions continue under Regulation 2021/840 until closure, and Pericles V funds may cover transition assistance costs.
